19 December 2008 Lorelei's great grandmom sent her some vintage blocks. I decided to wash them before putting them to use.

Day 73
17 December 2008- Yep it's a tree. Only lights, no focal point to the picture... the kitten keeps climbing it.
Day 72
16 December 2008- Picture taking fail. Only a snapshot today. She's cute though.... but too many baby pictures, not enough actual photography where I make an effort.
Day 71
15 December 2008- Sugar cookies with peppermint crunch. Sometime soon I'll post the recipe on my main blog. They turned out really good!

10 December 2008- Lorelei and her buddy Evan posing for some Christmassy pictures. The sun flare bugs me some, but she has such a joyful expression that I just had to share it.

Day 58
2 December 2008- This was another of those "didn't really take any other pictures" days. One the bright side a. I did take some sort of picture therefore not ruining my run and b. it's a happy smiley cheerful baby photo

1 December 2008- Something decent came of our mostly failed Christmas Baby Pictures event, even though it was Cranky Baby Day (tm) There were other good pictures, mostly of Lorelei's buddy Evan, but I haven't asked permission to post them on my blog.

Day 44
18 November 2008- Her first magazine destruction. I left the room for all of 3 minutes, came back and she had scooted to the magazine and was gumming it.

Day 42
16 November 2008- Lorelei's hand as she sleeps.I was disappointed with the pictures I got this day. I got some lovely pictures of her sleeping, for furthr examination to show eye boogers and weird little drool spots all over her face. Bah humbug
Day 40
14 November 2008 A slower shutter speed captures Lorelei's joy in playing with her foot rattles. If anyone has wondered if any babies actually like these things, the answer is yes. She didn't like them when she was younger but now at 4 1/2 months she seems to understand that her movements are making the noises, and is thrilled.

9 November 2008- I forgot about our pumpkin until I was wandering around the house taking pictures. I don't use the front door much. It's now a proud resident of our compost heap.

08 November 2008 The Austin Zoo and Animal Sanctuary has a ridiculous amount of turtles. Who's neglecting all these turtles that so many need rescuing?
