Day 22

27 October 2008
My tomato plant seems to prefer the cool October weather to the summer time. I don't think there were this many flowers on it at it's prime over the summer.

Day 21

26 October 2008- I didn't really get out of the house this day, recovering from the trip- including one night where I got only 1 hour of sleep.

Day 20

25 October 2008- Ivy in my parent's yard. There was a heavy dew the night before so their whole yard was glistening in the morning.

Day 19

24 October 2008- My mom gives Lorelei a bath in her kitchen sink. I usually give her a bath in the bath tub by getting in with her so she was a bit unsure of this way of doing things. She got a bit upset that she couldn't lay back and kick and splash.

Day 18

23 October 2008- My dad at his house. He went into surgery 3 days later and got a bunch of his liver removed. He's doing fine according to my mom

Day 17

22 October 2008- Chickens at Lorelei's grandmom's house

Day 6

Today we went sailing on Lake Travis. I caught this shot as Matt and David were taking the sail down at the end of the day.

Day 5

Lorelei poses for the camera

Day 4

October 9th

My purple pepper plant. It's been plugging along all summer and all I've dine is watered it and occasionally clipped off ripe peppers. They turn bright orange when ripe, and are supposed to be edible but I haven't tried them.

Day 3

The kitten without a name was hanging out on my lap.

Day 2

October 7th. Day two of my new camera. Still hadn't gotten it hooked up to the computer though.

I love how well the new camera picks up the nuances of a black cat's fur.

Day 1

There is nothing special to me about October 6. That's what makes starting that day interesting though, right?

This was my friend who watches the baby sometimes, my boyfriend (looking away) and one of my cats hanging out after my boyfriend and I got back from pool early. I tihnk that's why my friend looks so happy... less babysitting time!
